Responsibilities

Design, build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines
Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on T Cloud Public
Administer and troubleshoot Linux and Windows systems in production environments
Deploy, configure and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
Monitor system performance and implement logging and alerting solutions
Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment processes
Perform root cause analysis on incidents and implement preventative measures
Maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure, processes and runbooks
Support database administration tasks including backup strategies and performance optimization
Participate in on-call rotation to provide incident response and resolution
Continuously evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance DevOps practices

Requirements

Proven experience in DevOps engineering or operations engineering roles
Strong proficiency with one cloud platform and its services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Demonstrated expertise in CI/CD tools and pipeline development
Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles and tools (Terraform, Ansible or similar)
Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Proficiency in Linux and/or Windows system administration
Strong scripting and programming skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell or similar languages)
Version control system experience (Git)
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
English language proficiency at B2 level or higher
German language proficiency at B2 level or higher

Nice-to-have

Experience with T Cloud Public
Experience with monitoring and logging platforms (Prometheus, ELK Stack, Grafana or similar)
Background in support and troubleshooting roles
Familiarity with infrastructure security best practices and compliance requirements
Experience with configuration management tools
Knowledge of agile development methodologies
Bilingual fluency in both German and English
