Responsibilities

Operation, maintenance and optimization of production Linux and cloud environments
Management and support of containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift
Monitoring of infrastructure, applications and integrations using modern monitoring and logging solutions
Investigation, troubleshooting and resolution of incidents and performance of root cause analyses
Planning, coordination and support of software deployments and releases
Automation of operational processes and repetitive tasks using scripting and Infrastructure as Code principles
Implementation and regular testing of backup, recovery and disaster recovery procedures
Management of system performance, capacity planning and availability
Implementation and maintenance of security, compliance and operational standards
Participation in Incident, Problem and Change Management processes
Collaboration with development teams to improve operational stability, maintainability and observability

Requirements

3+ years of DevOps or Infrastructure Engineering experience
Strong English knowledge
Experience in working in agile teams (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
Basic software development skills with Java
Advanced experience in modern and cloud-native tools such as Kubernetes/OpenShift, Gitlab, ArgoCD and Artifactory to streamline CI/CD processes
Familiarity with SQL databases like Oracle or PostgreSQL or NoSQL databases like MongoDB
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or GitOps approach and knowledge in one or more of the following tools: Ansible, Prometheus/Grafana, Elasticsearch/Opensearch, Helm, Kustomize, Jenkins/Gitlab pipelines, Maven
Collaboration with Jira and Confluence

Nice-to-have

Eagerness to continually learn, grow and improve in a collaborative team environment
Interest in learning how to operate services in AWS
German language knowledge
