Responsibilities

Managing the operations of a BSS system in a cloud environment
Installation management
Managing upgrades of Middleware
Monitoring business use cases of the system based on log files
On call duties
Maintenance during night hours

Requirements

3-4+ years of DevOps experience in enterprise environments
Experience in operating, maintaining and supporting business-critical applications and infrastructure
Good knowledgebase in Linux, Java and Oracle database in enterprise environments
Experience with virtualization of platforms (VMWare, Kubernetes)
Experience with Gitlab / Github and GitOps workflows
Familiarity with agile tools like Git, Ansible, Jira, Confluence and Jenkins
Good English skills written and verbal
Team player
Understanding of how to implement DevOps principles
Self-organisation and motivation to explore new topics
Structured way of work organization
Communicative and customer service orientation towards internal organization

Nice-to-have

Experience in using different programming languages
Knowledge around the ITIL process, especially incident, problem and change processes
Certifications in software engineering or unix based operating systems
