Responsibilities

Development of advanced technical solutions for infrastructure and services expansion and operation
Preparation of procedures for the complete life cycle of cloud-native based production environment of packet Core including 5G-SA
Support of highly complex projects by overseeing development, quality assurance, planning, implementation and maintenance of product releases
Development and creation of strategies for automated integration and delivery including cross-project infrastructure and tool suite
Focus on harmonized automation frameworks and cloud-native functions in Packet Core for efficient and reliable automated deployment processes
Elaboration of new deployment strategies and disaster recovery plans
Collaboration with operations team to deploy planned solutions and improve process efficiency
Engagement with innovative topics and concepts to ensure high degree of digitization in support processes

Requirements

University degree with focus on computer science or comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in the DevOps environment
Excellent understanding of architecture, interfaces and call flows of ePC and 5GC including interaction to surrounding systems
Profound experience with cloud technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, OpenStack
Knowledge in Packet Data Core systems
Extensive knowledge of Helm, Istio, Prometheus, Flux
Good knowledge of microservice architecture and maintenance of cloud-based applications
In-depth expertise with monitoring systems and their evaluations
Long-standing routine in 2nd or 3rd-level support in Mobile Packet Core systems
Very good experience in classic and agile forms of cooperation
Very good skills in English (writing and speaking)
Willingness to travel

Nice-to-have

Experience in scripting (Python)
Basic skills in German (mainly speaking)
