Responsibilities

You’ll support the operation and improvement of mission-critical regulated-gaming infrastructure while joining us on an exciting journey to modernize our technology stack. Working under the guidance of a senior DevOps engineer and experienced IT leadership, you’ll have the opportunity to learn how modern platforms are built, operated, and continuously improved in a real production environment.
This role is ideal for a junior or graduate engineer who wants to build hands-on experience in DevOps, automation, containerization, CI/CD, and production operations while contributing to the ongoing evolution of our systems. We are looking for someone eager to learn, grow, and take part in shaping how our future platform is delivered and operated.
What You’ll Work With (Tech Stack)
Containers & Runtime

Docker and Docker Compose
Service packaging and environment consistency practices

CI/CD & Artifact Management

Jenkins or Bamboo pipelines
Nexus artifact repositories
Maven builds in the Java ecosystem

Automation & Infrastructure

Ansible for provisioning and configuration
Python or other scripting languages for automation tasks
Automation testing and quality checks

Observability & Operations

Grafana / Kibana and related monitoring/logging tools
Operational support, troubleshooting, and runbook-driven processes

Security

Secrets and certificate management practices
Basic TLS / certificate handling

Data & Streaming

Exposure to Kafka, PostgreSQL, and Oracle-related deployment or support tasks

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Assist with containerizing services and helping move systems toward more modern runtime and deployment patterns
Support CI/CD pipelines and help improve build, test, and release processes
Help maintain infrastructure and configuration automation using Ansible and scripting
Assist with deployments across development, test, and production environments
Monitor systems, dashboards, and alerts, and support troubleshooting activities
Work with senior team members to investigate issues across Linux systems, pipelines, containers, and supporting services
Contribute to the modernization of our tooling, processes, and operational practices over time
Learn and follow operational, security, and release management best practices
Contribute to documentation, runbooks, and team knowledge sharing

Requirements

A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Good understanding of Linux fundamentals
Basic knowledge of containers, especially Docker
Familiarity with scripting or programming, preferably Python
Understanding of Git and collaborative development workflows
Interest in CI/CD, automation, infrastructure, and platform engineering
Willingness to learn tools such as Jenkins/Bamboo, Ansible, Nexus, Grafana, and Kibana
Enthusiasm for learning modern DevOps practices and contributing to technology modernization
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
Good communication skills and eagerness to work closely with experienced engineers
A genuine interest in developing a career in DevOps and platform engineering
