Responsibilities

Operate, maintain, and scale our Linux-based on-premise infrastructure
Work partly on-site as part of a hybrid work setup, maintaining and supporting on-prem systems
Manage and expand our Kubernetes-based cloud environments in Europe and China
Collaborate with our development team to support services, deployments, and platform reliability
Drive automation initiatives within the DevOps environment
Develop and maintain scripts and tools for automation and data analysis
Tech Stack: Linux, Kubernetes, Rancher, RKE2, Proxmox, Ceph, Python, Shell, Ansible

Requirements

Degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills
Solid experience operating self-managed Kubernetes clusters (ideally Rancher / RKE2)
Strong scripting and programming skills for automation (Shell, Python, Ansible)
Experience with infrastructure and deployment automation
Experience with virtualization and distributed storage
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Alibaba Cloud
Hands-on, problem-solving mindset with a strong sense of ownership
Fluent in English (team language)
German language skills a plus
