Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure network and server infrastructure across all companies.
- Deploy, monitor, and maintain cloud and on-premise servers for production, staging, and development environments.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and reliable deployment of updates and new releases.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize backend performance for the multiplayer game platform and online services.
- Ensure high availability, redundancy, and disaster recovery for critical systems.
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement proactive solutions.
- Maintain and improve security standards across networks, servers, and APIs.
- Oversee network architecture for the video game distribution platform, ensuring efficient and stable content delivery.
- Manage and maintain the websites of all start-ups, including hosting, domain management, updates, and basic webmastering tasks.
- Support the digital and IT needs of all start-ups, from website maintenance to small-scale infrastructure and data management.
- Implement automation tools and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions for system configuration and deployment.
- Coordinate with developers and designers to ensure seamless integration between back-end services and front-end systems.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, Systems Administrator, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, routing, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or equivalent).
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
- Solid understanding of Linux and Windows server environments.
- Experience managing web hosting, DNS, SSL certificates, and related web infrastructure tasks.
- Experience managing backend systems for multiplayer or high-traffic web services.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Nice-to-have
- Experience with CDN configuration and optimization for games or media delivery.
- Background in backend infrastructure for online games or e-commerce platforms.
- Familiarity with CMS systems (WordPress, Joomla, etc.) for basic webmastering tasks.
- Experience with database management (SQL, NoSQL).
- Understanding of DevSecOps principles and best practices.
