Datawarehouse Project Manager

We are looking for a Data Warehouse Project Manager

At Loxon, you will take part in international banking projects, managing complex data warehouse and BI initiatives. You will have the chance to interact with various banks across the world, coordinate project delivery, and broaden your professional and leadership experience.

The new colleague will work with our Romanian subsidiary from our office in Bucharest.

Manage Projects and Stakeholders

• Meet with stakeholders to gather business goals and reporting needs.
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
• Ensure alignment between business requirements and technical solutions.

Coordinate Delivery

• Plan and oversee project execution, managing risks, budgets, and timelines.
• Coordinate the work of data architects, consultants, and developers.
• Ensure best practices in ETL/ELT design, data modeling, and reporting.

Quality Assurance

• Monitor project progress and ensure delivery of high-quality, accurate, and efficient data solutions.
• Support testing and validation activities (unit, integration, UAT).
• Oversee data quality, governance, and performance optimization.

Communication and Reporting

• Act as the primary point of contact for business and IT stakeholders.
• Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and documentation.

Ongoing Support and Evolution

• Support change management and adoption of new solutions.
• Ensure sustainable, scalable solutions for evolving business needs.

• Solid of experience in Data Warehouse / BI projects, with a proven record of successful delivery.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, able to understand and guide complex queries and ETL processes.
• Solid experience with ETL tools (preferably Oracle Data Integrator) and data integration concepts.
• Strong project management skills (planning, coordination, risk and issue management, reporting).
• Familiarity with economic, financial, or banking concepts and their translation into data models.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and ability to manage cross-functional teams.
• A good command of English, both written and spoken, and comfortable working in international environments, Romanian language knowledge is a nice to have
• University degree (Computer Science, Informatics, Economics, or related field).
