Data platform architect (JOI)

Location: Budapest, full remote

Salary: competitive

Type of work: contractor, possibility to be an employee after 6 months

Responsibilities include:

Data Platform Strategy and Architecture
Data Ingestion and Integration
Data Storage and Management
Data Processing and Analytics
Data Security and Governance
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
Contribute to the building of an effective, high-quality, fit-for-purpose Digital Transformation Department
Abide by and work in accordance with the company principles.
Perform any other work-related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the line manager.
Do whatever it takes, with a positive can-do attitude to ensure success of the DT strategy, goals and objectives.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
A minimum of five years of progressively responsible postgraduate experience in data platforms management and architecture.
Proven experience as a Data Platform Architect
Strong knowledge of data platform technologies, including data ingestion, storage, processing, and analytics
Proficiency in database design, data warehousing, and data integration concepts.
Proficiency in cloud platforms and technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Experience with big data technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, and distributed storage systems.
Familiarity with data governance, data security, and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
Strong leadership abilities

Proactive approach to finding creative and constructive solutions to difficult issues.
Fluently spoken and written English.
