Responsibilities

Leading a data engineering team comprising 5-6 consultants
Overseeing project delivery
Managing and mentoring the team
Ensuring successful execution of data engineering projects
Ensuring successful execution of ML/MLOps projects
Ensuring successful execution of cloud migration projects
Splitting time between team management and hands-on project delivery
Building and optimizing scalable, high-performance data pipelines
Designing, implementing, and maintaining ETL/ELT workflows
Ingesting structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data from systems like Oracle, Snowflake, and Redshift
Building enterprise data platforms
Enabling real-time and batch analytics workloads
Migrating legacy systems to modern cloud environments

Requirements

Consultant mindset and passion for customer experience
Solid software engineering foundations
Strong understanding of distributed systems
Familiarity with best-in-class software engineering principles
Experience in designing and implementing data-intensive applications
Strong SQL and NoSQL hands-on experience
Problem-solving and ownership skills
Ability to identify and fill organizational gaps
Motivation to lead and grow people
Experience in managing teams or leading project teams
Mentoring experience
Ability to build strong teams and culture
Excellent communication skills
Ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences
