Responsibilities

Leading a data engineering team comprising 5-6 consultants
Overseeing project delivery of data engineering, ML/MLOps, and cloud migration projects
Managing and mentoring the data engineering team
Building and optimizing scalable, high-performance data pipelines
Designing, implementing, and maintaining ETL/ELT workflows
Ingesting structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data from systems like Oracle, Snowflake, and Redshift
Building enterprise data platforms
Enabling real-time and batch analytics workloads
Migrating legacy systems to modern cloud environments
Collaborating with cloud, infrastructure, and data governance teams to ensure data reliability, observability, and monitoring

Requirements

Consultant mindset and passion for customer experience
Solid software engineering foundations with understanding of distributed systems
Experience in designing and implementing data-intensive applications
Strong SQL and NoSQL hands-on experience
Problem-solving skills and ownership
Leadership motivation to lead and grow people
Experience or readiness to manage teams or lead project teams
Mentoring experience or enthusiasm for mentoring colleagues
Ability to build strong teams and culture
Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences
