Responsibilities
Lead one of the newly formed data engineering teams comprising 5-6 consultants
Oversee project delivery
Manage and mentor the team
Ensure successful execution of data engineering, ML/ML Ops, and cloud migration projects
Lead a specialized data engineering team in either Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering areas
Build and optimize scalable, high-performance data pipelines
Design, implement, and maintain ETL/ELT workflows
Ingest structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data from systems like Oracle, Snowflake, and Redshift
Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, and data governance teams to ensure data reliability, observability, and monitoring
Build enterprise data platforms, enable real-time and batch analytics workloads, and migrate legacy systems to modern cloud environments
Develop semantic layers and data models
Implement transformations and aggregations on raw data
Standardize metrics, KPIs, and business logic
Ensure data consistency and version control for analytics code
Optimize query performance in data warehouses
Support BI and reporting teams with dataset accessibility and governance
Build the semantic layer of the Enterprise Data Platform
Create data that contains insights for self-service use
Enforce data contracts and governance
Improve performance of analytical queries and dashboards

Requirements
Consultant mindset and passion for customer experience
Solid software engineering foundations with strong understanding of Distributed Systems
Familiarity with best-in-class software engineering principles
Experience designing and implementing data-intensive applications
Strong SQL and NoSQL hands-on experience
Exposure to Real-Time Data Processing Systems, Apache Spark, and/or Big Data ecosystem is an advantage
Proven experience as an Engineering Manager leading engineering teams and overseeing project delivery
Experience mentoring and growing people with co-created objectives aligned with business and individual development plans
Proven track record of scaling up dynamic and high-performing teams and fostering collaboration
Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate technical concepts to all audiences and ensure transparent communication
