Responsibilities

Creation of Python code, tests, creation and modification of GitHub Action CICD pipelines
Working with AWS-based infrastructure and Docker containers
Deploying, debugging, and running systems
Delivering and scaling AI solutions embedded in cross-functional teams
Deploying assets on client service teams and refining them
Developing robust data ingestion pipelines and maturing data processing capabilities
Deploying solutions across McKinsey, client, and third-party cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, and GCP
Troubleshooting, analyzing, and resolving technical issues
Developing and supporting customizations and extensions tailored to client-specific needs
Contributing to improving pipelines, tooling, and engineering standards
Supporting ongoing product development

Requirements

3+ years of professional experience as a data engineer with strong focus on cloud-based data engineering using AWS services
Previous enterprise platform experience preferred
Significant previous experience with Neo4j
Strong conceptual understanding of knowledge graphs
Experience with building and adapting complex data workflows
Expertise with Python development
Practicing high coding standards with clean code, modularity, error handling, testing automation
Strong experience with relational databases
Strong execution and output orientation, results-driven mindset, ability to work independently in a complex and fast paced environment
Hands-on experience with Docker
Solid and demonstrable background in data pipeline performance and diagnostics
Interest in Generative AI and other ML topics
Kedro framework experience as a plus
Familiarity with agile principles and product development
