BorsodChem Zrt. a leading European manufacturer of MDI and TDI products and PVC powders, part of the Chinese Wanhua Group is looking for a new colleague to fill in the position of Cost Control/Quantity Surveying Team Leader.

Cost Control/Quantity Surveying Team Leader

Task:

Assist the Manager of the Cost Control Department in completing the establishment of system processes.
Allocate tasks for reviewing progress and settlement payments, and participate in the review process.
Allocate tasks for reviewing tender documents, bid supervision, and contract review, and participate in some of the review work.
Track the work of the Quantity Surveyor.
Review the rationality of engineering pricing.
Participate in project planning and tendering processes, providing expert advice on cost control.
Monitor project performance against budgets and schedules, identifying discrepancies and proposing corrective actions.

Expectation:

College/Universtiy degree in Engineering Management or other relevant technical specialization
Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering cost control, quantity surveyal, project management
At least 1 years in a leadership role
Fluent Hungarian and English in both verbal and written form
Analytical thinking, strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication, leadership and team management skills
