Állás leírása
Main tasks, responsibilities:
- Analyze and monitor the global development of prices for trading goods and intercompany prices with regards to material, energy, personnel, logistics and overhead costs to identify variances and improvement opportunities
- Support decision making in sourcing council
- Perform cost variance analysis (actual vs. standard, actual vs. budget)
- Prepare regular management reports with cost insights, variance commentary, and recommendations
- Contribute to product costing and pricing decisions for new products or special customer projects
- Support in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities with detailed cost analysis and explanations
- Support annual budgeting and rolling forecasts with cost assumptions and scenario analysis
- Develop and maintain cost KPIs and dashboards for management reporting. Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems and reports
- Support in reporting key financial and non-financial KPIs of the Business Unit, including special reports, and presentations (e.g. for Supervisory Board, Works Council, Economic Committee, statutory reporting)
- Support reporting of measures
- Support for the management team and risk manager in identifying, managing, and reporting risks, as well as developing and establishing proactive risk reporting
Requirements:
- University degree (Bachelor/Master/Diploma) in Business Administration with a focus on Finance/Controlling/Management Accounting
- Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel
- Experience with related processes, reports and ideally ERP/reporting systems (e.g. SAP)
- Power BI knowledge is an advantage
- Good valuation and modeling abilities
- High degree of self-motivation, initiative, and assertiveness
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Strong sense of responsibility, openness, and resilience
- Willingness for continuous professional development
- Fluent English (written and spoken), German is an advantage
