We are seeking an experienced Corporate Governance Legal Counsel to join a Legal team within a regulated Financial Services environment. This role will focus on advising the business on corporate governance matters, entity management, and regulatory-driven governance requirements across the EU.

About the job:

• Advise on corporate governance matters, including board and committee governance, policies, and frameworks

• Support board and senior management with governance-related advice and documentation

• Manage entity governance across EU jurisdictions, including statutory filings and corporate records

• Draft, review, and negotiate governance-related legal documentation

• Provide legal support on regulatory and compliance-driven governance matters relevant to financial services

• Liaise with external counsel, regulators, and internal stakeholders

• Monitor and advise on developments in corporate governance and regulatory requirements impacting the business

About the candidate:

• EU-qualified lawyer

• 5-7 years' post-qualification experience (PQE)

• Strictly law firm-trained background (applications without law firm experience will not be considered)

• Proven experience advising Financial Services clients (banking, asset management, investment funds, private credit, insurance, or similar regulated environments)

• Strong expertise in corporate governance and company law

• Excellent drafting and stakeholder management skills

• Fluent English. German is a plus.

• Comfortable operating in a regulated financial services environment

• Confident advising senior stakeholders

• Able to work independently while collaborating across functions
