Responsibilities
Aim of the position:
This position holder oversees the finance activities, ensuring proper execution of his functions.
- Implement and enforce financial controls to ensure compliance with the Group accounting manual and local legal requirements.
- Responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, financial data analysis, record-keeping, and financial reporting to divisional management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage month-end closings and prepare monthly/weekly financial, operational and commercial reports, presentations
- Prepare and present monthly manufacturing variance analysis, come up with ideas for improvement
- Ensure accuracy of financial data and reporting
- Ensure Stock reconciliation, analyzing aging of the stock, initiate corrective actions if needed and managing quarterly stock takings
- Prepare project specific profitability calculations
- Work closely with Finance Manager and other Departments to identify opportunities for efficiency, cost savings and business growth.
- Active participation of the annual budgeting process
- Active participation in Group and external financial audits
- Support decision making of the management by providing valuable information and analysis
Requirements
Requirements:
- ability to cooperate with other departments
- understanding of key controlling and reporting processes
- strong analytical skill with ability to prepare and analyzing reports
- autonomously working, while seeking proactively support if needed
Knowledge needs:
- bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- Minimum 3 years working experience in Finance with controlling/reporting focus in an international environment
- Other skills:
- good communication skills in drafting reports
- be highly familiar with dynamic accounting softwares Ms Excel, Ms Office, Ms Outlook, and PowerPoint, SAP knowledge
- critical decision-making
- At least B1 level of English knowledge (active)
