Contract Manager

Job description:

We are supporting an international organisation in the search for a Contracts Manager to support commercial and legal activities across the EMEA region. The role is hands-on and requires a high level of independence in managing contracts end to end.

About the customer:

• Role: Contracts Manager
• Location: Bern
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 12 months with possible extension

Requirements:

• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including MSAs, HCP and HCO contracts, CDAs, and other commercial templates
• Manage agreements throughout the full contract lifecycle using the contract management system
• Create, maintain, and update contract templates and standard documentation
• Identify opportunities for process optimisation and improved contract workflows
• Provide solution-oriented legal support to internal business stakeholders
• Prepare training materials and maintain FAQs related to standard agreements

Competences:

• Master of Law degree plus national legal qualification
• 3-5 years of experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts in a law firm or international corporate environment
• Experience within biotech or pharma is a strong advantage
• Strong commercial contracting knowledge with the ability to manage agreements independently and end to end
• English: native or business proficient (mandatory)
• German: native or business proficient (mandatory)
• French: strong advantage
