Responsibilities

We are looking for a Mechanical & Welding Engineer to join our growing engineering team and support our MEP and industrial construction projects. The ideal candidate has a mechanical engineering background with experience in HVAC, piping and welding, and is comfortable working across different technical areas depending on project requirements.

Supporting and coordinating mechanical and welding engineering activities on industrial and MEP projects
Reviewing and coordinating HVAC, piping and mechanical systems
Preparing, reviewing and interpreting technical drawings, specifications and documentation
Supervising and coordinating welding activities, including monitoring welding quality and compliance with project requirements
Supporting the preparation and review of welding documentation and procedures
Coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, engineers and site teams
Conducting technical inspections and resolving engineering issues on site
Ensuring that works are carried out in accordance with approved designs, technical specifications and applicable standards
Providing technical support from the engineering phase through installation and commissioning
Flexibly supporting different projects and taking responsibility for various technical areas as project needs require

Requirements

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience
Experience with HVAC and/or piping systems
Knowledge of welding technologies and welding engineering
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications
Good problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
Willingness to travel and work on international projects when required
Flexibility and adaptability – the ability to move between projects and take on different responsibilities is a strong advantage
Good command of English
Construction mentality, construction discipline due to strict deadlines
