Responsibilities

Development and improvement of ball and player tracking algorithms using multi-camera systems
Contribution to multi-view geometry solutions for accurate tracking across large sporting environments
Support for approaches to handling occlusion, player interactions, and recovery in fast-paced sports scenarios
Enhancement of existing, mature computer vision systems used in live production environments
Optimization of algorithms with performance and reliability in mind, including CPU and GPU considerations
Working in an agile environment to deliver robust, production-ready solutions
Assistance in the development and improvement of computer vision algorithms
Implementation, testing, and validation of algorithmic features
Collaboration with engineers across disciplines to solve complex computer vision challenges
Contribution of ideas and improvements to existing approaches and processing pipelines
Sharing progress, challenges, and learnings with the wider team
Continued growth of technical capability through hands-on development and collaboration

Requirements

Experience with computer vision algorithms through commercial work, research, or academic projects
Working knowledge of C++ with a desire to continue developing modern C++ skills
Interest in performance optimisation for CPU and GPU workloads
Familiarity with image processing techniques and multi-camera systems
Basic experience using Git and Visual Studio

Nice-to-have

Exposure to CUDA or GPU acceleration, Awareness of concurrency, networking, or operating system concepts, Interest in machine learning and related libraries, Familiarity with OpenCV or similar computer vision frameworks
