Responsibilities

Create and implement sourcing strategies for Hungary on assigned commodities. Focus on cost reduction, vendor rationalization, on-time delivery, and quality improvements
Provide leadership, motivation, and training to Commodity Specialists. Ensure team alignment to support business development and sales growth
Provide timely cost data to support sales proposals' deadlines
Build strategic relationships with global suppliers through negotiations and agreements
Support New Program Implementation
Participate in process improvement initiatives
Work with Sales Engineers and Business Development Managers to reduce product costs
Manage complex supplier contracts
Collaborate with the global Sourcing Team to maximize buying power
Build strong partnerships through visits, conferences and trade shows
Report results to the management

Requirements

Bachelor's degree
Minimum 5 years of experience in Sourcing, Supply Chain, or Procurement
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions like VLOOKUP and IF/THEN statements and building pivot tables
Familiarity with ERP systems
Ability to collaborate with local leadership, sourcing specialists and commercial leaders to execute commodity strategy effectively
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hungarian
Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
