Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist, establishing priority items
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food before use
- Cook food and prepare top-quality menu items in a timely manner
- Test foods to ensure proper preparation and temperature
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company Food Safety Programs within assigned area of responsibility.
- Prepare hot food including working on the grill and also have and experience of working in the Hot and/or cold kitchen
- Follow company and department safety and security policies and procedures to ensure a clean, safe, and secure environment
- Anticipate Chef's needs, including asking questions to better understand their needs and watching/listening to preferences and acting on them whenever possible
- Test foods to ensure proper preparation and temperature
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
- Ensure the proper sanitation and cleanliness of surfaces and storage containers
- This role requires the ability to move and lift to 25 lbs.
- Standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods of time is also a part of the job profile

- Swiss work permit holder or EU ID / Passport holder
- Proficiency in multiple languages is a bonus
- Strong working knowledge of industry regulations
