Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable AWS cloud architectures with a strong focus on networking and platform stability
Architect and manage AWS networking components (VPCs, routing, egress control, hybrid connectivity)
Build and maintain Databricks platform architecture on AWS, ensuring best practices and scalability
Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, with a focus on reusable and modular design
Define and implement cost allocation models across tenants and projects
Design and develop CI/CD pipelines to enable automated deployments
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define platform standards, governance, and best practices
Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual operations and improve reliability

Requirements

Strong hands-on and architectural experience with AWS cloud environments
Deep expertise in AWS networking including VPC design, egress control strategies, and hybrid connectivity
Proven experience with Terraform for infrastructure and network automation
Strong experience in Databricks on AWS including platform setup and management and deep understanding of Databricks architecture and components
Solid knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) in both AWS and Databricks
Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
Ability to operate at both hands-on and architectural levels

Nice-to-have

Experience with Microsoft Azure
Familiarity with multi-cloud environments
Experience with advanced automation frameworks and DevOps tooling
Background in platform engineering or internal developer platforms (IDP)
