CI Manager – Your Future Position?
As a CI Manager on our Makó site, you will report to the Head of Operation. You will lead the continuous improvement journey for the factory, driving site‑wide operational excellence and fostering a culture of learning, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Lead and coordinate the factory's CI roadmap, aligning initiatives with site and business strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Operations to translate the strategic plan into clear improvement priorities and timelines.
  • Develop and promote CI capabilities through training, coaching, mentoring, and certification programs.
  • Drive implementation of CI best practices to reduce waste and streamline non‑value‑added activities.
  • Champion the use of proven methodologies, including SMED, VSM, TPM, and Six Sigma.
  • Facilitate the design and deployment of site strategies; align global, regional, and functional goals to local execution plans.
  • Establish governance for CI strategy deployment and performance management across departments.
  • Engage employees in the continuous improvement journey; encourage teamwork and best‑practice sharing.
  • Coach project teams on problem‑solving and root‑cause analysis; lead complex workshops when required.
  • Guide performance management reviews at all levels by defining effective indicators and visual systems.
  • Support process owners to create and sustain CI work standards (SOPs, OPLs) and ensure compliance.
  • Partner with global and regional experts to enhance end‑to‑end process efficiency and asset utilization.
  • Lead and oversee improvement project pipelines, monitor progress, and consolidate results.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, health, and safety standards in all CI activities
  • University degree in food/chemical/ science/engineering
  • Experience within the food industry is an advantage
  • Fluency in English and Hungarian, on a negotiation level
  • Minimum 5 years related experience leading projects and people
  • Strong knowledge of Lean methodology
  • Proven results on leading improvement projects, training, coaching, assessing
  • LEAN Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent required, Black Belt certification or equivalent is an advantage
  • Advising, Training and Coaching skills

  • Project & Change Management skills
  • Willingness to travel
