Central Controlling Lead
Scope of the position:
MOL Group was awarded a 35-year concession for Hungary’s waste management services. MOHU (part of MOL Group) has been established in order to manage these activities and started its operation in July 2023. In line with MOL Group 2030+ strategic goal, the company is committed to be a key player in the circular economy in CEE region. MOL will be responsible in the frame of the concession of the waste collection from households and businesses in Hungary. The company will organize the pre-treatment and treatment operations necessary to meet the strict waste management and recycling targets of the European Union.
MOHU Central Controlling is one of the key pillars within MOHU Finance, with main scope of setting up and operating a full range of financial processes, necessary for the company operation, as well as serving as a key point of contact towards MOL Group Finance. You will have the possibility to keep your finger on the pulse of business, as well as shape the future of MOHU.
Responsibilities:
- Professionally manage MOHU Central Controlling area, perform organisational management tasks of MOHU Central Controlling experts
- Coordinate and supervise the annual business planning and forecasting process for MOHU
- Manage regular (monthly/quarterly/annual) financial and ESG reporting processes
- Manage and develop reporting system through standardization and automatization solutions
- Perform Waste Management segment level financial tasks in terms of reporting towards MOL Group
Requirements:
- University/college degree in economics or finance or accounting or management
- Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience and minimum 1 year of managing experience
- Analytical and system-oriented approach, strong prioritizing and problem-solving skills
- Direct management and motivation of colleagues
- Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders, customer – centric thinking
- Excellent knowledge of company and business processes
- Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Fluency in both written and spoken English
