Responsibilities
Platform Operations & Maintenance
- Monitor system alarms, create and close work orders, and prepare routine monitoring reports.
- Maintain platform stability by checking hardware/software status and performing regular health checks.
- Execute software upgrades, patches, capacity expansions, and manage hardware spare parts.
- Extract and analyze data from large databases (Spark SQL, Hadoop environment).
- Support use case development to help telecom operators improve user experience, service quality, and key KPIs (e.g., DOU/MOU).
- Assist Business Architects in preparing reports and customer-facing presentations.
- Collect customer requirements and prepare high-level (HLD) and low-level solution designs (LLD).
- Participate in delivery projects, from technical planning to final acceptance.
- Ensure data accuracy by updating network configuration information.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of telecom networks (CS/PS/IMS/NFV/HSS/UPCC) or willingness to learn quickly.
- Knowledge of Linux, TCP/IP, basic telecom signaling, and data communication.
- Familiarity with SQL (Sybase IQ, Hadoop Spark SQL) is an advantage.
- Experience in data analysis or telecom project delivery is an asset.
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal).
Nice-to-have
- Hands-on experience with SmartCare CEM, data mining tools (SPSS/R/SAS), and Python.
- Background in CRM, Billing, BI systems, or core network optimization.
