WHAT THE JOB IS ABOUT

Working together with design agencies, technical and OB teams to develop the right packaging designs and range strategies for our customers. To ensure information flow and projects are managed to meet the required milestones. Setting up governance forums with support by engaging key sponsors and subject matter experts

• Developing and leading packaging design strategies in order to hit our customer thinking and be ahead of the trends of the market.
• Delivering Group-aligned CE or local packaging design jobs by cooperating across functions and external agencies.
• Ensuring packaging signage is suitable for customers and meets shelf display requirements (including SRP).
• Ensuring design quality and that design directives are followed.
• By knowing the categories and the actual markets always applying category-relevant design solutions.
• Ensuring the design process recognizes current legislation, standards and codes of practice where appropriate.
• Ensuring design information is of the right brand, quality, customer needs and convenience, and always relevant to actual packaging type.
• Continuously bringing creative, customer focused and visually attractive solutions for problem-solving.
• Keeping the deadlines and being aware of the critical path requirements of each design project.
• Supporting, listening and advising the team as to the requirements and obligations in the development of a packaging design.
• Control, guide and manage Central European design agencies, and cooperate with UK agencies too where relevant.
• Creating Design Briefs where relevant and coordinating contribution to it from other stakeholders.
• Deal with invoices from CE design agencies and ensure tracking and accuracy for further re-invoicing processes.
• Attending, hosting or coordinating department meetings to be able to deliver great packaging designs on time.
• Proactively highlighting any potential risks/issues related to the design developments.
