Tesco operates in Hungary since 1995 and its head office is located in Budaörs. The company has built the country's biggest retail chain by running more than 200 stores all over Hungary.
More than 800 colleagues work together in our head office in Budaörs. We cooperate in 3 countries structure with the Czech and Slovakian teams on a daily basis to offer the best to our customers.

WHAT THE JOB IS ABOUT:

Responsible for the end-to-end brand management and development of Own Brand to drive market share and build the brand across the CE region. You'll create cross-category propositions that offer customers unique, different and meaningful reasons to shop. You will foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams to lead the delivery of brand positioning and strategic plans across the 6Ps. This role would suit someone who has a good knowledge of brand marketing, insight and commercial, able to translate propositions into concepts and

  • Leading the strategic planning process, building brand strategies, platforms and pipelines that deliver growth aligned with business strategy.
  • Reviewing and optimising the Own brand range to ensure the brand strategy and acrchitecture is executed consistently across the region.
  • Cooperating and building an active, result oriented partnership with Product and Customer team colleagues to deliver propositions.
  • Developing strong relationships with cross-function teams, running NWTs with key stakeholders and developing plans across the 6Ps.
  • Coordinating or participating in relevant marketing activities (e.g. awards, events, competitions, tastings) inside and/or outside of Tesco.
  • Creating compelling and insight-led concepts to deliver the strategic plans using brand management tools.
  • Setting up the correct brand measurement studies and data sources to understand brand performance and inform strategy.
  • Constantly monitoring the market, trends and competitors, identifying brand opportunities and innovations to improve performance.
  • Briefing insight and design teams to bring propositions to life and be the brand champion, ensuring good implementation of brand guidelines.
  • Work with and influence teams from across the business to turn ideas into action, balancing strategic thinking with tactical delivery.
  • Leverage the knowledge, skills and capability of the Tesco Group (UK and ROI) to improve strategy, guidelines, pipelines and the mix.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • University Education
  • Min. 5-6 years of experience at similar position
  • Advanced (C1) level of English
  • Experienced of using MS Office (Excel, Word & Power point)
  • Category and/or Brand Management and Brand Development experience
  • Crafting and delivering briefs
  • Commercial, Proposition, Insight or Communication experience
  • Innovative thinking
  • Excellent Stakeholder Management
  • Cross-functional project and team leadership skills
  • Developing own brand propositions across the 6Ps Managing agencies
  • Assessing and feeding back on strategy and creative
