OTP Bank Nyrt. is a major investment service provider with constantly developing footprint across Central-Eastern Europe. We have also recently launched our M&A Advisory services, which naturally complements our activities on the capital markets.
OTP Bank has a leading role in the Hungarian DCM market and regularly participates in local bond transactions in other OTP geographies. Between 2019 and 2025 the Bank completed more than 150 bond issues with a total volume of EUR 29 billion. We regularly participate in large (>EUR 500m) Eurobond transactions in cooperation with major investment banks, which allows the Team to constantly gain unique experience of West-European capital markets practices.
In 2021, OTP Bank successfully launched its ECM business, and did successfully close 3 large IPO/SPO transactions in Hungary with close to EUR 100 million total value.
OTP Bank’s Capital Market Origination Team is searching for an open-minded and dynamic junior colleague, who shall support the day-to-day operation of the Team, help the preparation of DCM and ECM transactions, and actively manage the business development objectives of the Team. The new candidate has also opportunity to participate in the roll-out of OTP Bank’s M&A Advisory practice.

• Active participation in the preparatory and execution phase of primary market security transactions of clients of OTP Bank as well as by members of OTP Group.
• Client-acquisition with special attention to the below
• identifying and analyzing the possible leads;
• preparing tailored marketing materials;
• participation in client acquisition discussions.
• As member of the execution deal team special focus are on the below tasks
• drafting transactions documentation and marketing materials;
• coordination with the greater deal team during the preparation of the transactions, and clarifying any upcoming issues;
• daily relationship management with clients and other stakeholders in the transaction processes.
• Support origination activities on Group level, coordination with local colleagues from OTP Group Banks.
• Coordinating and assisting tasks related to the paying agent services of the Bank in Hungary.
• Providing professional support to the CMO management in all matters.

• University degree in Economics/Finance
• 3-5 years work experience (ECM/DCM and/or M&A)
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in team
• Accuracy and strong analytical skills
• Pro-active approach
• Fast learning capability
• Fluent English in speaking and writing
• MS Office skills on a user level
