CAPEX Project Manager
Job description:
We are looking for an experienced CAPEX Project Manager to lead and coordinate complex projects in a GMP-regulated environment. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure all project activities are planned and executed efficiently.
The role supports the program lead in executing technical projects related to Annex 1 optimization in a sterile manufacturing environment. You will act as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders and external partners, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with applicable quality and regulatory standards.

Duration: Contract until end of 2026 with possible extension
Workload: 100%
Location: Bern, Switzerland

Requirements:
Lead the planning and coordination of CAPEX project activities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful project execution
Ensure project deliverables are developed, reviewed, approved and executed according to schedule requirements
Monitor timelines, budgets and project risks to ensure projects remain on track
Act as the primary contact for internal stakeholders and external partners
Ensure project execution complies with applicable quality standards and regulatory expectations in GMP environments
Support efficient project execution in capacity-constrained environments
Contribute technical input and solutions to support the implementation of Annex 1 optimization projects
Example project areas may include:
Improvement of sterile filtration processes (Point of Fill Filtration)
Development and implementation of an electronic system to document interventions in Grade A environments
Facility improvements such as sealing of ceilings in Grade D areas
Optimization of transitional cleanroom spaces (MAL)
Competences:
Fluent English and German required (spoken and written)
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Process, Chemical or similar)
Experience managing CAPEX or engineering projects in regulated industries
Strong project management experience within GMP-regulated environments
Solid understanding of cGMP, EU Annex 1 and engineering documentation
Experience with technical troubleshooting, risk analysis or FMEA
Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders
Experience managing project timelines, budgets and deliverables
