Responsibilities

C-based application design, development and maintenance in Linux/UNIX environments
System-level interface work with POSIX APIs, processes, file systems and sockets
Kerberos authentication system development and enhancement
Internal implementation maintenance and improvement of open-source technologies such as OpenSSH
Performance monitoring, debugging and optimization of low-level system components
Automation tool development for administrative and operational processes
CI/CD and deployment automation pipeline improvement and maintenance
Collaboration with engineers, product owners and stakeholders on authentication strategies

Requirements

Strong proficiency in the C programming language
Deep understanding of Linux/UNIX system programming and system interfaces
Solid experience in network programming
Good knowledge of security concepts including authentication, authorization and cryptography
Experience working in controlled enterprise environments
Practical experience with Perl and Python
Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly
Strong teamwork skills in a distributed environment
