Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled C# Backend Developer to join our dynamic team at Blue Lagoon Budapest, being part of our Internal Development team at Blue Lagoon Iceland.
As a backend developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining robust server-side applications. Your work will directly impact the performance, scalability, and security of our systems.

- Developing C# .NET Solutions:
- Create efficient and reliable backend solutions using the .NET Core framework
- Design and implement APIs to facilitate communication between front-end and back-end components
- Using Azure, DevOps and Repo for inhouse development strategies
- In-House Application Development:
- Build and maintain in-house applications that enhance our business processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of backend services
- Debugging and Maintenance:
- Identify and resolve issues in existing codebase
- Optimize performance and troubleshoot any backend-related problems
- Security and Risk Management:
- Implement security protocols to safeguard data and prevent vulnerabilities
- Handle technical risks and address potential security threats
- Collaboration and Support:
- Work closely with other developers in a project team
- Provide technical support to stakeholders within the organization
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in computer programming, computer science, or information technology
- 1-2 years of experience as a C# developer
- Proficiency in C# and the .NET Core Framework
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and easy-to-understand code, coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English mandatory
- Ability to participate in project meetings and collaborate effectively
- Self-motivated, able to work independently
- Familiarity with agile development practices
Nice-to-have
- A certification in .NET is a plus
