An international, global leading medical device manufacturer for its new start-up location in Hungary is looking for an experienced
Buyer
Task:
You will be part of a high-performing and agile team with a direct report to the Managing Director. Cross-functional engagement with Production, Production Planning, Quality and Engineering is vital for successful delivery and performance.
Buyer tasks
- Identify and introduce new suppliers (mainly metalworking)
- Conduct RFQs, select suppliers, negotiate contracts
- Minimize cost
- Daily Operational tasks
- Ensure undisturbed supply of components for continuous production
- Resolve all critical supply issues and report status
- Manage supplier quality issues
Expectation:
- Proven 3 years procurement experience in production environment, preferably in assembly
- Significant knowledge and user experience in ERP systems
- Confident user of MS Office package, strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Fluency in English and Hungarian
- Team player with excellent intercultural communication skills
- Flexible and dynamic mindset
- Able to work under pressure

- Planning and organizing
Other:
- Higher education degree (or equivalent) preferably in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration
- Strong knowledge and experience of metalworking, blueprints reading
- Experience in logistics
