Responsibilities

Strategic Account Management: Organizing and implementing professional sales activities for our existing client base to ensure long-term partnership and growth.
New Business Acquisition: Identifying, prospecting, and conquering new markets (both domestic and international).
Sales Strategy: Developing and executing a proactive sales pipeline from initial outreach to closing deals.
Solution Selling: Understanding client pain points and presenting our localization and linguistic services as high-value business solutions.

Requirements

You are a Closer: You have a proven track record in B2B sales or business development.
You are Proactive: You don’t wait for leads to drop into your lap—you have an entrepreneurial mindset and take the initiative.
You are Independent: You can work autonomously, manage your own schedule, and take ownership of your targets.
Communication is your Strength: You are a persuasive negotiator with professional fluency in English (both written and verbal).

Nice-to-have

Industry Experience: Previous experience or deep knowledge of the Localization/Translation industry.
Global Mindset: Experience in international sales or working with global corporate clients.
Tech-Savviness: Familiarity with CRM systems and an understanding of how language technology (CAT tools, AI, etc.) adds value.

Our Budapest-based translation and localization company is looking for a high-performing Sales Professional to join our team. Villámfordítás is a team of 15 language professionals; while several of us handle some sales tasks, you would be the first dedicated team member whose primary mission is to drive growth and keep our customers happy. We are seeking someone who can professionally manage and scale our existing client relationships while aggressively pursuing new market opportunities and driving overall business growth.
