Business Development Manager – Urban Climate Resilience | Hungary (Home-Based)

Do you want to combine engineering expertise with business development and work on projects that make cities more resilient to climate change?

At Wavin (part of the Orbia Group), we are looking for a Business Development Manager – Urban Climate Resilience to support our growth in Hungary.

Please note: a strong engineering background is essential – M.Sc. degree is mandatory for this role.
Your Role:

Act as a trusted technical and commercial partner in stormwater management and Urban Climate Resilience projects
Shape customer concepts and support projects throughout the design phase
Drive UCR go-to-market activities in Hungary
Identify and develop new business opportunities and build a solid project pipeline
Support sales growth, profitability, and key customer relationships
Translate technical and regulatory requirements into customer-focused solutions

Requirements

Mandatory: M.Sc. degree in hydraulic engineering, civil engineering, stormwater management, water treatment, urban planning, or a closely related field
Experience in business development, sales, or technical roles within engineering or infrastructure
Strong understanding of stormwater management or Urban Climate Resilience solutions
Customer-focused mindset with the ability to develop and win projects
Fluency in Hungarian and English
