Responsibilities

Charging Software’s e-mobility platform intents to make the management and commercial operation of public charging infrastructure for business partners as easy and efficient as possible. Alongside with that Compleo’s product portfolio also provides EV drivers a simple access to charging infrastructure with innovative payment solutions and a huge charging network based on the eMarketplace. To extend Compleo Charging Software’s good market position new payment and marketplace features need to be analysed, specified and developed.
Main tasks, roles and responsibilities:
  • As Requirements Engineer/Business Analyst you analyze requirements for our e-mobility software platform and translate and specify them in the form of use cases (including necessary system interfaces) and later user stories for the development teams.
  • Together with product owners, developers and architects, you will define and design user-friendly software solutions for the eMarketplace and Compleo’s Payment solutions from a rough product idea that delivers maximum value for our customers.
  • You are the helping hand of the product owners when it comes to translation of business needs into precise and testable requirement specifications.
  • You take over the coordination of agile (sub-)projects around our marketplace and payment products from the initial requirements specification until rollout.
  • Thanks to constant feedback cycles and your excellent expectation management, you will work successfully with the relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

Education:
  • University degree in Computer Science/Business Informatics or similar education with a technical background
Work experiences – time/seniority/sector:
  • 3+ years of professional experience in the analysis and specification of requirements for IT systems and know how to use relevant requirements engineering methods
Technical/ IT knowledge:
  • Experience with common requirement specification and agile requirement management methodologies
  • Experience with tools like Jira and Confluence, ideally also PlantUML
  • Knowledge of UML Sequence and Activity diagrams
  • Ideally, experience with Payment Service Providers (PSPs)
Language – with level
  • Fluent English
  • Understanding colleagues speaking German
Mobility requirements
  • As per need – usually 2-4 weeks per year to Germany or similar 
Required Skills and Competencies:
  • You love to analyze complex technical relationships as well as to outline and communicate precise requirements and solutions
  • You are proficient enough to question existing feature ideas and address challenges
  • You are familiar with agile methodologies like Scrum/Kanban and ideally SAFe and you internalized their advantages
  • Ideally, you have a Scrum Product Owner certification
  • Experience in the EV charging business would be an advantage
  • You convince with good communication skills in English
