Our partner company, the Hungarian subsidiary of a leading Central European logistics group with over 30 years of industry experience, is seeking a new colleague as a Branch Manager to support its domestic expansion in international freight forwarding services.

  • Establishing and managing an independent freight forwarding branch in Transdanubia
  • Building up commercial and operational activities from scratch
  • Recruiting, leading, and developing a 3–4 person team in the initial phase (with HR support)
  • Actively acquiring new customers and carrier partners in a highly competitive regional market
  • Introducing and strengthening the company brand in Western Hungary’s key economic hubs
  • Managing customer experience and long-term client relationships
  • Close cooperation with headquarters, other Hungarian branches, and group companies
  • Preparing and presenting regular business reviews in English
  • Operating with a strong P&L and ownership mindset
  • Minimum 5 years of operational experience in road freight forwarding or transportation
  • Strong commercial and customer acquisition experience
  • Negotiation-level English language skills (spoken and written); regular business reviews required
  • Proven network in freight forwarding and/or carrier market
  • Solid understanding of LTL / groupage (partial load) transportation
  • Strategic, business-oriented thinking with hands-on execution capability
  • Excellent communication, persuasion, and relationship-building skills
  • User-level proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Independent, precise, and proactive working style
  • Existing own client portfolio is a strong advantage
