Biostatistician

ABOUT THE JOB
 

Ceva-Phylaxia seeks applicants for the full-time position of Biostatistician in the Biometry Platform within the Biological Research and Development Directorate of Ceva’s Phylaxia Campus in Budapest’s 10th district.

Reporting to the Biometry Platform Leader, you will provide accurate and compliant statistical analyses for clinical and industrial studies as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will contribute to scientific monitoring and knowledge sharing and support the publication of scientific results in the veterinary domain.
 

YOUR DAY TO DAY
 

• Ensure the relevance of statistical methodologies and the accuracy of data and results in compliance with GxP regulations
• Statistical design and analysis of studies, including preparation, presentation, and explanation of results and reports
• Provide statistical training and maintain up-to-date statistical knowledge through scientific monitoring
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines; review, validate, and maintain relevant SOPs and procedures
• Use appropriate statistical software and tools in line with regulatory requirements; act as key user when needed and liaise with IT on access and installations

• University degree in a natural sciences–related field
• Strong computer user skills (Microsoft Office)
• Programming knowledge (SAS)
• English proficiency at a working/negotiation level
• Strong communication and presentation/argumentation skills in both English and Hungarian
• High level of accuracy with an analytical and logical mindset
• Strong problem-solving skills
• 1–3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or research and development field
