We are seeking a seasoned Bid & Proposal Manager to lead a high-performing team responsible for delivering strategic, commercially sound proposals across Vodafone’s global markets, VOIS and partner markets. This role is pivotal in shaping Vodafone’s global proposal strategy, managing a centre of excellence, and driving impactful outcomes on complex, high-value opportunities. The successful candidate will be a recognised expert in bid management, pricing, and contracting, with outstanding people management skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage large-scale virtual teams across geographies. 

  • Lead an end-to-end Bid Management and Proposal & Content team supporting Vodafone markets globally, internal VOIS Go-to-Market and partner markets. 
  • Develop and implement negotiation and proposal strategies using industry best practices. 
  • Engage with internal and external customers, including C-level stakeholders, to progress opportunities. 
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across pre-sales and delivery functions. 
  • Manage partner dependencies and ensure accountability across solution and commercial requirements. 
  • Be a business owner of the proposal and content platforms, lead improvements on the same. 
  • Drive innovation in commercial and operational paradigms to maintain market-leading offers. 
  • Oversee governance and compliance across all team activities. 
  • Contribute to the wider Business VOIS commercial development and growth strategy. 
  • A proven people manager, leader with over 10 years’ experience in Commercial, Project Management, Sales or Operations within global corporate environments. 
  • Skilled in managing complex multinational opportunities and virtual, cross-cultural teams. 
  • Strong analytical mindset with a data-driven approach, ability to think outside the box. 
  • Certified in Project Management and knowledgeable in proposal management best practices (e.g., Shipley, APMP). 
  • Exceptional communicator with influencing and engagement skills. 
  • Experienced in working with blue-chip customers and senior internal stakeholders. 
  • Adept at identifying and mitigating risks, with a deep understanding of telecoms and IT market trends. 
  • Fluent in Business English.
  • Opportunity to lead a global centre of excellence and shape Vodafone’s proposal strategy.
  • Exposure to high-value deals with a total contract value exceeding €3 billion.
  • Direct influence on Vodafone’s commercial success and customer experience.
  • Work with diverse teams across multiple time zones and geographies.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders and contribute to strategic decision-making.
