Responsibilities

Your Role

You will develop innovative beverage applications with a strong focus on taste optimization and sugar reduction. The role supports R&T and flavor development teams by translating concepts into market-ready solutions, with a particular emphasis on fiber- and protein-enriched beverages.

Develop and optimize beverage concepts and applications, from idea to prototype
Design functional beverages, especially in sugar-reduced and better-for-you segments
Apply and refine taste balancing solutions for optimal sensory performance
Prepare and evaluate beverage systems, compounds, and emulsions
Lead or contribute to R&T projects within defined research priorities
Collaborate closely with flavorists and global application teams
Act as a technical interface for customers, supporting trials and discussions
Ensure proper documentation and sharing of results within the team

Requirements

About You

Master's degree in Beverage Technology, Food Technology, or similar
At least 2 years of experience in beverage or food application development
Strong sensory skills, with a good understanding of taste modulation
Basic knowledge of functional ingredients (e.g. proteins, fibers)
Hands-on mindset with practical lab experience in beverage systems
Fluent in English; German is a plus or willingness to learn
Team-oriented with good communication skills and curiosity to learn
