Responsibilities

System design for new features and complex changes
Creation and maintenance of architecture documentation and ADRs
Driving code quality, review standards, and engineering practices
Leading technical incident response and writing post-mortems
Identification and management of technical debt
Translation of product requirements into technical solutions, milestones, and tasks
Mentoring engineers through design sessions, pair programming, and code reviews
Definition and maintenance of SLIs/SLOs for team-owned services
Coordination of technical dependencies with other teams
Evaluation and recommendation of technologies, patterns, and tools

Requirements

4+ years of backend software engineering experience with PHP and/or Golang including technical leadership
Experience of using Golang in production environment
Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB or similar)
Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or similar)
Experience designing and evolving backend architectures
Strong understanding of testing practices and CI/CD pipelines
Ability to communicate technical trade-offs, risks, and designs clearly
English B1+ written and verbal communication

Nice-to-have

Experience with various video formats, media containers, and transcoding pipelines
Experience defining and working with SLIs/SLOs in production
Understanding of message brokers and event-driven architectures (RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar)
