Responsibilities

Participation in design, POCs and development of complex tasks within the Sportsbook B2B & Integrations Value stream
Ensuring high-quality delivery by developers
Working closely with architects to communicate, align and implement architecture direction within teams
Aligning with other tech leads to ensure technical consistency and drive technical excellence initiatives
Identifying technical improvements in responsible applications
Validating technical improvements and helping Product Managers prioritise them
Explaining benefits of technical improvements to technical and non-technical audiences
Participating in development, testing, code reviews, bug fixing, implementing new features and maintaining existing functionality
Building the team through technical interviews, coaching and mentoring engineers
Staying up to date with technology and strategically implementing new technologies

Requirements

Passion for building things with strong technical background and understanding of non-functional requirements
Expertise in designing and implementing distributed microservices
Deep understanding of the latest C# and .NET framework/core
Experience deploying scalable back-end solutions using AWS, Azure or GCP
Expertise with distributed systems and high-speed database technologies including SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis)
Familiarity with messaging systems, message queues and event-driven architecture
Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
Deep understanding of coding best practices
Team player with readiness to offer help and share knowledge
Pro-active attitude to suggest and drive improvements
