Responsibilities

Participation in design, POCs and development of complex tasks
Ensuring high-quality delivery by developers
Collaboration with architects to communicate, align and implement architecture direction
Alignment with other tech leads to ensure technical consistency
Ownership and driving of technical excellence initiatives within Sportsbook
Identification of technical improvements in applications
Validation of technical improvements and prioritization with Product Managers
Explanation of benefits of technical improvements to technical and non-technical audiences
Participation in development, testing, code reviews, bug fixing, and implementation of new features
Maintenance and improvement of existing functionality
Participation in technical interviews
Coaching and mentoring engineers
Staying up to date with technology and strategic implementation

Requirements

Passion for building things with strong technical background
Understanding of non-functional requirements
Expertise in designing and implementing distributed microservices
Deep understanding of latest C# and .NET framework/core
Experience deploying scalable back-end solutions using AWS/Azure/GCP
Expertise with distributed systems and high-speed database technologies including SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis)
Familiarity with messaging systems, message queues, and event-driven architecture
Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
Deep understanding of coding best practices
Team player with readiness to offer help and share knowledge
Pro-active attitude towards suggesting and driving improvements
