Azure Data Test Engineer (3783)

• Plan, create, and execute detailed testing scenarios to verify ETL and data pipeline workflows, including data transformations and end-to-end data integrity checks (such as source-to-target validation, cross-references, and reconciliation),
• Review data extraction, transformation, and loading activities to confirm correctness, completeness, consistency, schema integrity, referential integrity, deduplication, lineage, and schema drift handling,
• Conduct XREF validations, source-to-target comparisons, and data reconciliation across interconnected systems,
• Perform end-to-end testing of data pipelines within data lake and data warehouse environments, including platforms based on Databricks, Delta Lake tables, clusters, notebooks, and SQL endpoints,
• Build and execute automated data validation and regression testing solutions using Python or PySpark,
• Embed testing processes into CI/CD workflows and version control practices with GitHub, covering branching strategies, pull requests, and test script maintenance,
• Execute API testing activities (REST / JSON / XML) for pipelines that expose or consume APIs, ensuring payload accuracy and correct data integration,
• Log, monitor, and assist in resolving defects and data-quality-related issues.

• Medior-senior experience in ETL testing or QA,
• Experience writing Python /PySpark scripts,
• Confident English skills.
