Responsibilities
We are looking to strengthen our data extraction team in Budapest. Our team powers the company's automated data extraction processes. On the Semeris internal platform, using vanilla JavaScript code, regular expressions, LLM prompts and our pipeline design framework, we build data extraction pipelines. Off-platform we mainly use Python (although theoretically not restricted to Python) and our internal data APIs to build fully customized pipelines with greater flexibility.
We also build containerized deployables and lambda functions, to be loosely integrated into the main platform.
Requirements
- Physically located in Hungary; ideally situated in or near Budapest.
- Right to work in Hungary
- Fluency in English, Business English (spoken and written) experience preferred
- At least three of:
- Experience in interpreting complex legal/financial transactions
- Proficient coding experience (any of Python, Node JS, C, C++, etc.)
- Significant experience with using AI/ML and data analysis
- Quantitative Finance analysis experience (financial modeling)
- NLP / linguistics expertise
- Demonstrating aptitude and incentive to be creative, inventive and independent
- Good communication skills
- Strong work ethics with motivation and enthusiasm to improve further
- Ability to work independently as well as being part of a team
- Willingness to engage with our startup culture to push the company to new heights
Nice-to-have
- Willingness and ability to come into our office space in Budapest regularly to facilitate team communication and when direct collaboration is required. Please note that any remote work has to be performed from a physical location within Hungary.
