Tasks:
Sales & Customer Experience
People Management
Operations & Cost Control
- Partner with the Store Manager to deliver and exceed sales targets
- Drive commercial performance through effective planning (planograms, layouts, seasonal execution)
- Ensure strong in-store availability, focusing on sizing and stock variety
- Lead stock management and replenishment processes to maintain optimal levels
- Coach and support the team to deliver excellent customer service through real-time feedback and recognition
- Create engaging, visually appealing store displays to boost footfall and sales
- Handle customer feedback, complaints, and queries in line with company standards
People Management
- Lead, develop, and retain a high-performing and engaged team
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning initiatives
- Foster a positive work environment with clear communication and strong team engagement
- Act as a role model, driving performance through coaching, feedback, and recognition
- Collaborate with the People & Culture team on performance management and employee relations
- Promote company initiatives and contribute to community engagement
- Ensure effective use of internal systems (e.g., Workday)
Operations & Cost Control
- Ensure operational excellence in line with company standards
- Deputising for the Store Manager when required
- Oversee stockroom management, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
- Support scheduling and resource planning to optimize staffing and costs
- Maintain strong knowledge and application of operational guidelines
- Assist in safeguarding people, property, and stock (including key holder responsibilities)
- Support day-to-day store operations and deputize for the Store Manager when required
- Promote a safe working environment by enforcing health & safety standards
Requirements:
- Strong, business-level English proficiency
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a retail leadership role is required
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to coach and develop teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Commercial awareness with the ability to analyze data and drive sales performance
- Track record of delivering excellent customer service and store standards
- Ability to motivate teams and drive continuous improvement
- Similar leadership experience in a high-volume, fast-paced retail environment
