Als Assistant In-Room Dining Manager im Mandarin Oriental, Wien bist du Teil des Banquet & In-Room Dining Teams und für verschiedene Aufgaben verantwortlich. Du berichtest an unseren Bankett und IRD Manager.

Als Assistant In-Room Dining Manager werden Sie verantwortlich für folgende Aufgaben sein:

• Unterstützung des Outlet Managers bei der Führung des Teams, der Umsetzung von Standards und der Gewährleistung reibungsloser Abläufe.
• Vertretung des Managers und Kommunikation mit der Hotelleitung sowie anderen Abteilungen.
• Förderung eines positiven Arbeitsklimas und Motivation des Teams für außergewöhnliche Gästeerfahrungen.
• Schulung und regelmäßige Überprüfung der operativen Standards und Richtlinien der Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group.
• Überwachung der Sauberkeit und Wartung relevanter Bereiche in Zusammenarbeit mit Technik und Housekeeping.
• Verwaltung von Bankettbereichen und effiziente Ressourcennutzung.
• Sicherstellung einer ansprechenden Präsentation von Menüs und Materialien sowie regelmäßige Updates.
• Koordination der audiovisuellen Ausrüstung und Verwaltung von Gelegenheitskräften.
• Überwachung der Außencatering-Operationen und kontinuierliche Verbesserung der Servicequalität.

About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Vienna within the Banquet & In-Room Dining Team in Vienna, the Assistant In-Room Dining Manager is responsible for various duties. You report to the Banqueting & In-Room Dining Manager.

As Assistant In-Room Dining you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Supporting the Outlet Manager in leading the team, implementing standards, and ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Acting as a deputy to the Manager and liaising with hotel management and other departments.
• Promoting a positive working environment and motivating the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Training and regularly reviewing the operational standards and guidelines of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group.
• Monitoring cleanliness and maintenance of relevant areas in cooperation with Engineering and Housekeeping.
• Working closely with the Chef de Cuisine on menu planning, pricing, and event coordination.
• Managing banquet areas and ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Ensuring appealing presentation of menus and materials, including regular updates.
• Coordinating audiovisual equipment and managing casual staff.
• Overseeing outside catering operations and continuously improving service quality.

Als Assistant In-Room Dining Manager suchen wir nach:

• Abgeschlossene Ausbildung in der Hotellerie oder Gastronomie
• Erfahrung in einer Führungsrolle von Vorteil
• Gute Kenntnisse im Bereich Food & Beverage sowie in operativen Abläufen.
• Ausgeprägte kommunikative Fähigkeiten und Teamorientierung.
• Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse.

• Completed training in the hospitality or gastronomy industry
• Experience in a leadership role is an advantage
• Solid knowledge of Food & Beverage and operational procedures
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Excellent command of both German and English

The collective minimum gross monthly salary for this position is €2.263,00. There is a willingness to offer a higher salary depending on qualifications and work experience.
