  • Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Finance Department, timely preparation of Financial Statements, reconciliation of the Balance Sheet, distribution of reports to the Executive Committee and to represent the Director of Finance when the latter is absent from the property, ensuring a centralised accounting environment
  • Ensure that policies and procedures are being followed in accordance with the Brand guidelines. Implement financial controls and policies where necessary
  • Active participation in Forecast and Budget process
  • Ensure Financial functions are operating in accordance with company policies
  • Responsible for the month end close. Ensure hotel and corporate deadlines are met. Prepare the financial statements and distribute as requested
  • 3-5 years financial controlling experience (hotel related is advantage)
  • College or University degree (in finance or economy)
  • Chartered Accountant qualification
  • Fluent in English (any other language is an advantage)
  • Excellent computer knowledge (Word, Excel, Power Point, MS outlook)
  • Service minded, open personality
  • Ability of successfully leading a team
