Tech People is a European provider of technical skills permanent recruitment and temporary contracting services for multiple industries.
Currently we are looking for
AS/400 SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR (LJA)
Location: Budapest, remote
Salary: competitive
Type of employment: full time, contractor position
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years recent experience of working in an operational capacity, on one or more international banking packages
- Experience of interfacing the iSeries with third party applications
- Knowledge and understanding of mid-range Banking systems
- Writing SQL Queries
- Eclipse-based IDE such as IBM Rational Developer or similar
- Must be able to work under pressure in a complex international working environment
- Must be able to meet agreed deadlines and agreed budgets
- Provision of remote support of sites supported by client
Skills:
- Good working knowledge of MS Windows and Office
- Excellent communication skills (English wirtten and verbal)
- Ability to adapt to new tools quickly
Desirable skills:
- Experience of working in a functional capacity on banking software packages (IBIS international banking package and advantage)
- Experience of working in IBM iSeries Machines
- Agile/DeVops methodologies MQSeries
- Knowledge of ILE, CL and THENON Environment/source control system
- Experience of digitalisation approach
- Knowledge and understanding of mid-range Banking Systems
