YOUR responsibilities as an AR Accountant will include (but not limited to):

Managing and optimizing accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely, compliant, and accurate execution
Collecting receivables in line with company payment terms and maintaining healthy aging accounts
Handling customer payments efficiently, ensuring correct postings, allocations, and reconciliations
Managing Trade Marketing invoices and compensation requests in coordination with internal stakeholders
Executing month-end closing activities, preparing accurate reports, and supporting audit requirements
Driving credit and collection processes, including credit limit reviews and credit insurance management
Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal functions
Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance
Leading financial meetings and presenting insights on DSO, overdue accounts, and bad debt provisions

Requirements

We are looking for an AR Accountant with the following profile:

University degree in Finance or Economics
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar finance role
Strong knowledge of SAP system
Advanced MS Excel skills
Fluency in English (B2-C1) and Hungarian (native)
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational ability
Proactive, process-minded, and motivated to meet deadlines
Team-player with openness to learn and share knowledge
